LIVESTREAMS
I offer basic livestreaming as an additional service for any show. That having been said - I only recommend it for very specific applications. There are a great many things that can potentially go wrong during a live broadcast, and no time to fix them. We are doing - today, with 1-2 person teams - what used to take entire production crews, cost major networks millions of dollars, and required extremely expensive equipment. The technology has come a long way in recent years, but the intrinsic challenges of capturing and broadcasting a live show in real time nevertheless remain.
Most livestreams have a single audio feed and 4 or fewer cameras. I offer that, myself, without the need for larger crews or a rental budget for additional equipment.
For more ambitious productions, I work with larger teams. I am the (default) Director of Photography for the Pacific Opera Project's livestreams and supervise their audio. You may watch all of their taped shows, here, entirely free of charge: www.pacificoperaproject.com/production-history
I have also worked as the DP for Ice Cream Streams, run by producer/performer, Phil Pritchard. www.icecreamstreams.com Phil put together a compilation of our work with the Soraya at CSU Northridge, including multiple grammy award-winning artists! (Wynton Marsalis and Samara Joy, among many other distinquished names!). A preview from his website is included, below.
Please note, due to the complexity and variations possible in a livestreaming setup, I can't publish the same rate quotes that I can for other services. But, if you contact me, we can discuss your project, and I can provide you with an estimate.
